Qt5.5.0 src pkg: ' unrecognized command line option' during configure

Download the Qt5.5.0 opensource monolite source package. Tested on linux (Ubuntu 12.04 x64)
Run the configure.

Bug:

error during configure: "cc1plus: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-fuse-ld=gold’" :

........................................................................................Done.

Also, there's lots of dots printed into the console screen before 'Done' text. Does this work as expected? Looks a bit odd.
