QtWayland client shows compositor background instead of a grey shadow

    Description

      A QtWayland client shows the compositor background instead of a grey shadow. I noticed this behavior when i touch a link in a QtWebEngine browser. It doesn't make a difference if I use Weston as compositor. See attached videos.

      I think the commit that causes this behavior is: 

      Don't recreate hidden egl surfaces (bf09c7a1493c01a65ee0f110b37a04e653edc08e)
