Attributes with numbers as first sign

I tryed to parse a xml file. The children of the main element had some attributes with numbers as first sing, for example:

<prototype ID="2" Name="" columnCount="2" rowCount="2" 0-0="0" 0-1="0" 1-0="0" 1-1="0"/>

After a few time of research and trying i found out, if an element has an attribute with a number as first sign, it wont be appear in child list of the parent node.
