Description
The ComboBox control type uses a native popup menu for the dropdown selection. However if you're rendering to a QQuickRenderControl, this popup has no real window parent to properly position itself. Additionally, if you're using the ComboBox to support VR user interface, the user is unlikely to see any popup when clicking to activate the list.
The combo box code should detect if it's attached to a real platform window, and if it's not, should generate a pure QML drop list, rather than using the native Menu type. Alternatively the Menu type could be updated to do something similar. This would actually be better as native menus face the same problem in VR.
