    Description

      Applications using the map module (for instance the mapviewer example) crash in debug mode:

      Debugging starts
QML debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment.
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
  what():  std::bad_alloc
QMutex: destroying locked mutex
Debugging has finished

      The problem did not happen with the last dev branch I tested on 09-August 2017.
