I discovered the problem in Qt-based app, but confirmed that it's likely qt bug by reproducing the same problem with vanilla dockwidgets examples from your project.

I believe the fact that I run e16 as window manager might be related.

I am happy to test any change in the dockwidgets example if you have idea how to fix the problem.

Dockwidget refuses to interact with mouse and it never receives focus when undocked from main window (by grabbing it with mouse out of main window).

The issue is not there when undocking is done by the top-right button.

This worked just fine in qt 4.
