    Description

      Based on the ticket QTBUG-2031 I try a new attempt to make the QSplitter a bit more user friendly.

      Original text:
      "A new method to programmatically collapse a given widget in a QSplitter would be useful. Something like splitter->collapse(index)."

      Nothing more to say right now. 

      Would be awesome to see this little helper function some day.
