ResizeEvent() for child widget is not getting called when parent is resized

There is a problem that child widget is not getting resize() event in case parent is resized.

Please refer to the sample attached.
You can see resizeEvent() is called for child only at start of app.
Try resizing the app window, resizeEvent() for child is not called.
