Description
I'm not familiar with Linux distributions, but in Windows, wide characters are widely used. As we all know, Win32 APIs have two versions, the A version and the W version. Windows will convert ansi characters to wide characters internally even if we are using a A version API. It means Windows only use wide characters internally, the A version APIs only exist for compatible reason. I think Qt should do the same. Use wide characters internally, the traditional APIs exist for compatible. At least QCoreApplication should accept wchar_t ** as the "argv" parameter.
