QDS 3D - Week 39/40
Description
PrincipledMaterial in Qt 6 should not have specular maps anymore, so we should create PBR maps for the original assets in all the required sizes. PrincipledMaterial has baseColorMap (Albedo / Diffuse), normalMap, metalnessMap, and roughnessMap.
There's also support for occlusionMap, if such is generated by the tool. Not sure would it be useful, though, as we have live ambient occlusion support too.
Textures are needed in sizes:
- 256x256
- 512x512
- 1024x1024
- 2048x2048
- 4096x4096
