QStatusBar without a parent crashes XFCE4 toolbars

    Description

      This bug was found in OpenMW-CS. When using Linux Manjaro / XFCE4. OpenMW-CS used QStatusBar without a parent, and opening widgets with it caused flicker at first, then after 3-10 times of opening a widget, an unrecoverable total windowing system crash.

      This bug did not occur when tested with Linux Manjaro / Gnome, and has not happened to my knowledge on other systems.

      Adding a parent to QStatusBar fixed the problem in OpenMW-CS, but could there be a more serious bug somewhere deeper?

      The codebase of OpenMW-CS is fairly big, but this particular issue seems to be in a simple part.
