UI freeze after several fast clicks on QTreeWidget's items

    Description

      I have a main window that only contains a single QTreeWidget with three sub-items.  After several clicks on the items randomly, the UI freeze.

       

      Steps to reproduce the issue:

      (1) Create a new Qt Widget Application.

      (2) Open the mainwindow.ui, drag a Tree Widget (Item Widgets (Item-Based)) to mainwindow.ui, and add three sub-items.

      (3) Build the application in Debug mode.

      (4) Click the sub-items randomly. The UI will freeze.

       

      I attached the screen that shows how to reproduce the issue step by step. The Demo application is attached.
