"Run CMake" doesn't use environment variables set in QtCreator

I want to compile my project with ccache, so i've added

PATH=/usr/lib/ccache/bin:${PATH}

To the system environment. However, when cmake gets run it doesn't use the right ccache compiler. Is there a better way to use ccache with QtCreator?
