QML JS: Follow/Rename Symbol Under Cursor do nothing for function parameter

The pop-up menu actions “Follow Symbol Under Cursor”, “Find Usages”, “Rename Symbol Under Cursor” do nothing when invoked for a JS function parameter in a QML file. They should act the same as if it is a local variable (they do work for local vars).
