Using "Show in Finder" makes Qt Creator unresponsive for 40+ seconds

    Description

      Selecting any file or folder in the project structure navigator, right-clicking, and selecting "Show in Finder" renders Qt Creator unresponsive for 40+ seconds. This makes the feature unusable. The Finder window actually shows up when this finishes. Activity monitor reports nearly 0% CPU usage while the application is frozen.
