QML editor doesn't see files from other subprojects in relative imports

In attached example, component subproject has qrc:/qml/public/ExternalComponent.qml and usage subproject has import "../public" in qrc:/qml/private/main.qml, but it cannot see the ExternalComponent there. If the files are in the same project it works fine, and also if full qrc:/qml/public import path is used.
