Description
Just installed the latest update of Qt Creator on the latest update of Chrome OS.
Running Qt Creator in the Linux container.
Receive a message concerning "qt.qpa.wayland: wl-shell" is a deprecated"
as well as notice concerning pixelbook keyboard. See snapshot.
I don't know the extent of the problem if any exists concerning this situation.
The qml documents appear to function correctly. But I am just testing a very
simple document that just displays a window and a rectangle. In the test
I ran, the qmlscene shuts down immediately after the onCompleted handler
ends.
It appears these messages are displayed every time the document is run.
It is more of a distraction than a problem at this point in my trials.
I read the message concerning the environment variables. and added
the two lines below to my .profile data set. But it did not seem to make
any difference.
echo "export QT_WAYLAND_SHELL_INTEGRATION=ivi-shell" >> ~/.profile
echo "export QT_IVI_SURFACE_ID=1337" >> ~/.profile
Tried running the project with the window remaining opened.
Tried to use the min/max icons in the title bar but they don't
appear to be working. See snapshot with application output
