Description
Fresh install of Qt 6 (beta?).
Created new project (Qt Quick/empty).
Result: default Kit which appeared to be installed is not available - project can not be used
kit greyed out.
Uninstall results in a number for files not being found see snapshots.
I wiped out the linux instance on my pixelbook. Reinstalled linux and Qt Creator 6.0
created my first application and the same results occurred
I include a screen shot of the resulting project with the run options greyed out.
I did a reinstall of Chrome OS Linux. However this time I included the following additional Linux packages:
sudo apt-get install apt-utils
sudo apt-get install tree
sudo apt-get install --reinstall build-essential
sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dev
After installing qt, the beginning new project was successful. And there were no
errors at the end of the install (see snapshot).
I suspect the libgl1-mesa-dev package was the solution to this situation.
(although I am not certain).
