    Description

"qtcreator -client <filepath>" is super useful when working in a shell to open a file in a running instance of Qt Creator. I use it all the time, but I often fall in a trap. <filepath> will be treated as a project if it is a CMakeLists.txt and that is not always what I want. It happens to me many times during a month that I open a CMakeLists.txt as a project and what I wanted was to open it in the editor. It would be great if it was possible from the commandline to open files without them being interpreted as a project. Either make opening a CMakeLists.txt as a project a separate option, or provide another way to always open a file in the editor.
