Provide a setting in the Companion App to start and stop the simulation

Starting with 5.14, a simulation starts in the background automatically upon a start of Neptune. When using the Companion App, it is also possible to control tell tails in the Dev tab. When the simulation is running, a control of the tell tails is de-facto not possible, since it is becomes constantly overwritten by the simulation. I suggest to provide a global control in the Companion App with which it would be possible to stop and then start the simulation. If possible, I also suggest to make this settings persistent. This would enable to start Neptune w/o simulation
