Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. launch minidesk
2. click on the Cog icon on the top left
3. click on the rotating cog inside the app window (a red popup is shown)
4. clock on the now paused cog inside the app window (the red popup disappears)
5. click on the rotating cog inside the app window once again

Expected behavior:

The same as in step 3 (a red popup is shown)

Actual behavior:

The popup is show as a regular window, replacing the existing one.

Comments:

This happens because the window properties (such as "type") are lost, not present in the second appearance of that application window.
