Adding model does not work in some of the examples

Found issue:

In some of the examples creating a model does not seem to work. Went through all of the examples and the ones with this issue are:

• Material Bundle
• Animation tutorial start
• Figma variants
• Simple 3D example
• Cluster tutorial
• Webinar demo
• Progress bar
• Washing machine
• Particle demo
• Effect demo
• c++ demo,

Steps to reproduce:

• Download some of the above listed examples from Welcome page -> Examples
• Open the example
• Try adding a model in Model Editor
• -> nothing seems to happen, cannot see created model
