It is not possible to use a floating point value for the U and V scale properties in a Texture type, although they are float based

      It is not possible to use a floating point value for the U and V scale properties in a Texture type, although they are float based. In the attached example, the scaleV is set to 1.5, but in the property editor it is rounded up to 2.
