Tabbing away from an editable QComboBox does not emit activated() or currentIndexChanged()

Tabbing away from an editable QComboBox does not emit neither the activated() nor the currentIindexChanged() signal, though visibly the text in the combobox has changed. These signals seem only to be emitted when pressing 'Enter'.
