Create a new (QWidget) application. Notice that in the widget designer the objectName (MainWindow) of the generated mainwindow form is non-default (the default being mainWindow), resetting it (by accident or by correcting an error) makes the code uncompileable (the fix might not be apparent to new users, as the difference is only in capitalization).
