OS X: FileDialog doesn't show Media section on the sidebar

Media section of the sidebar will appear only on the first invocation of the FileDialog box when pressing the cancel button on the dialog.
If the user selects a file from the Media section the next invocation of the FileDialog will show the Media section, but the first time the user selects something else it disappears permanently.

In a sandboxed app this turns into a crash on the second display of the
FileDialog if the user selects a file from there.
