Description
Currently, the implicitWidth of both Menu and MenuItem.background is set to a fixed value of 200. For smaller MenuItem labels this will cause a lot of empty space in the Menu, see attached screenshot.
I therefore suggest to
a) allow user defined width for Menu and MenuItem
and/or even better:
b) to automatically adjust the menu width to the largest width of the containing MenuItems.
I'm not sure, but maybe a) will be resolved with https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-50471?focusedCommentId=303257&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-303257 ?
