QQuickWebEngineView sets ItemAcceptsInputMethod unconditionally

    Description

      The QQuickItem::ItemAcceptsInputMethod flag is always set for QQuickWebEngineView.

      In QtWebKit the flag was set and cleared depending on what kind of HTML page element was focused. Also, it was possible to query input method hints of the currently focused element using QInputMethodQueryEvent.

      Related (skipped) autotests:

      • tst_QQuickWebEngineView::inputMethod
      • tst_QQuickWebEngineView::inputMethodHints

      Decide whether it makes sense to copy this behavior.
