Implement a way to share graphics assets between processes

Research, design and implement a resource server/client mechanism and image provider in Qt Quick which allows the user to specify graphical assets in a client process by a special URL. This graphical assets should then be requested from the server process, which will load and reference count the assets, and provide them to the clients as QSharedMemory handles.

The mechanism could also provide the possibility of implementing a backend which shared graphics memory through whatever API is available on the platform or driver.
