QMenu takes on full screen height when menu width larger than screen width

On a multi-monitor setup QMenu instances fill the entire height of the screen if one of the actions makes the menu wider than the current screen the application is on, despite correctly adjusting their width to greater than the screen width and displaying partially on another monitor. I have attached a MWE project which reproduces the problem on my system.
