Kubuntu 14.04 64bit (2 different computers)
creator installed from official repos and creator installed from Qt website
Description
I have downloaded source code for the kernel for an Android phone. Then I opened creator and created a project using the "Import existing project" wizard. The project imports about 26,459 files.
Whenever creator tries to open the new project, it shows a little message saying it is parsing the files, and my ram usage jumps up very fast. Watching the system monitor, I see creator using over 30GiB of memory and eventually exhausting all the available ram and finally getting killed.
I have tried with the version of creator that is in the Kubuntu 14.04 repositories (3.0.1), as well as the version of creator available for download on the Qt website (3.1.0). I have also tested this project on a separate computer running Kubuntu 14.04 and Creator 3.0.1 with the same result.
I have used creator extensively in the past with Android kernels without issue. Its just something about this one project that makes it explode. I have uploaded the project to box.com due to its large size. To reproduce the crash, download the project, untar it, open the .creator file with Qt Creator IDE. Then watch ram usage go up.
