File changed dialog blocks qt creator when file is continuously changed on disk

Open file that is output of a running process.
Creator notices and pops up a "File Changed" dialog.
Choose any of the options.
Creator will immediately pop the dialog up again, having noticed the file has changed in the interim.
Creator will continue to do this until the file stops being modified.
