abandoning changes via ssh command posts comments twice

this is upstream issue https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/issues/detail?id=1721 (which is apparently not resolved despite claims to the contrary).

it essentially keeps me from running the auto-abandon script to finally get rid of the cruft.
