Coin should store the state thrift file in JSON format

    Description

      Currently browsing the downloads of every workitem, I see the file:

      state.thrift_bin

      This is not easy to decode for applications outside of Coin. It would be nice to have it in JSON text format.

      It would be also nice to have it not only at the end, but since the beginning of the life of the workitem, so that if I download it I can see the status: running, complete, error etc.
