      Description

Since PySide2 5.12.2, the assimp sceneparser plugin is missing from PySide2 prebuilt packages (using pip install).
This results in the SceneLoader failing to load many 3D file formats (like OBJ).

This is probably due to Qt binaries also being impacted, as reported in:

      https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-74535

      https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-74483

      https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-75145

Only tested on Windows, probably impacting macOS as stated in those issues.

Note that copying the missing library from a previous PySide2 version (5.12.1) solves the problem.
