QQmlParserStatus usually requires the Q_INTERFACES(QQmlParserStatus) macro when used from C++, we don't have an equivalent in PySide6.
The small example I have attached, which inherits from QQmlParserStatus does not work as expected, likely because the QmlEngine expects the meta-object to have some special flag that is set with the Q_INTERFACES macro usually.
Not sure if that is a bug or just an undocumented feature.
