It's normal to find other Python-focused IDEs displaying the version of the Python interpreter like Python 3.11.0 (venv_name) at the bottom of the window. It would be really beneficial to have this information somewhere, and when clicking it, to have a way to go to the Python plugin interpreter configuration.

There is an image from PyCharm and and video from vscode on how they display this information.
