    Description

      Hello,

      The code documented on this page https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython/examples/example_external_matplotlib_widget_gaussian.html no longer works, because one must import from backend_qtagg instead of backend_qt5agg.

      Changing the two lines makes the example work, at least with Matplotlib 3.6.2.
