      Environment:

      MacOS 15.6/MacBook Pro M4

      Qt Creator 18.0.1

      PySide: 6.9.1

      Python: 3.13.0

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Run the example - examples/graphs/3d/widgetgraphgallery
      2. Go to the surface graph tab.
      3. Select textured topography.
      4. Click on the graph, so that point appears on the graph. 
      5. Click column slice from the right-hand side menu.

      Expected: The app should not crash and should show proper view.

      Actual: The app is crashing. See attached video. 

      Reproducibility:  100%
