Reference UI Component Library
Description
What is the benefit? Why is this valuable?
Designers create their UI components (and complete design systems) in Figma but before using these Figma components in Qt Applications they must be transferred to Quick Controls.
We must have reference component library to be shared as an example and used as basis by designers so that it's clear how the Figma components should be structured to be later translated in Quick Controls.
See: https://www.qt.io/blog/qt-quick-control-templates-for-figma
What are common use cases?
- Designer takes Reference UI Component Library as basis for creating their own UI components in Figma. This Figma project is then translated to Quick Controls and used in Qt Design Studio for creating Application UI.
- Developers use Qt Reference UI Component Library as is for building their application UI. They don't have Figma nor Qt Design Studio, so the library should be possible to install with Qt Installer (Qt 6.7).
