Effect not selected automatically after adding it

Steps:

• Drag and drop effect from Content Library to scene in Navigator or 3D View
• -> effect doesn't get selected automatically, but user needs to separately select it from Navigator/3D View.
• Would be better that effect gets selected automatically -> then preview of the effect in 3D view would also start playing automatically, if toggled on.
