When trying to set a state of object, the user interface does not guide the user. What user wants to know is that what will be the "to" state. The role of state group here is also misleading. Simple UI would be "component X" -> "state Y" (states for that component are in dropdown like they are now), nothing else. State group concept is something that many users don't use. Most 'groupings' are done with property bindings instead.
