Use new variable chooser for conditions in other places

We now have a single control that allows to choose a variable: item.propertName.
Currently this is only used for conditions, but we should use it in all other cases, too.

e.g. signals, function calls and bindings/assignments (from).
This requires some redesign in general and we have to polish the chooser.
