Connections Editor's Set Property Action only shows boolean properties

In the attached project, I'm trying to change the opacity of trashCan to 0.5 when trashCanMouseArea is pressed. However, the Connections Editor's Set Property Action only shows the properties whose data type is bool, therefore, I cannot achieve it unless I manually edit the code.
