Effect maker: background color affects effect when chosen with color picker

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Create new effect, e.g. Lava
      • Change preview background color by opening color dialog and choosing some color from the palette
      • -> effect preview looks as expected, only background color is changed
      • Choose background color by using color picker tool in the color dialog
      • -> effect does not look correct, please see attached recording.
