Description
What is the benefit? Why is this valuable?
Bloom from Qt5 compatibility collection does not stand the quest of time.
What are common use cases?
Hi-def 3D UI
Technical information
There is a bloom post processing effect that looks really good with some parameter tuning. We need to have this so that once enabled, it automatically looks good.
- Use Qt 6.5 extended Scene Env by default in View 3D (see Separation of basic 3D and advanced 3D envs)
- Make sure default settings make illuminated object look amazing
- Check that effect can be tuned extreme visions (exaggerated looks etc)
- Requirement of the scene (HDR map, point to example map in DS gallery?)
- Object that can visualize the bloom (3d object with material applied that shows the bloom, some AO maybe?)
- Document the relevant parameters (from property editor perspective) that are used to tweak the effect.
