Flying + zoom in/out makes 3D View hard to use

Steps to reproduce:

• Create a 3D project
• In 3D View, zoom the view out using mouse wheel so that whole grid is visible
• Press right mouse button down and fly closer to cube
• -> Grid is not scaled and flying around the cube is impossible since it moves so quickly
• -> Zoom out / zoom in with mouse wheel does not "reset" grid
• -> If you keep repeating flying + zooming out/in, eventually you might end up situation where zooming does not work well anymore (see recording)
• -> Clicking Fit selected object to view "gets things back to normal"

Maybe zoom level should be indicated somehow and there should be easy way to reset it? Not sure if clicking "Fit object to view" is the only way to do that after fly mode, since using mouse wheel does not change anything.
