"Edit in 3D View" does not select component

    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Create 3D project
      • In 2D View, right click on top of cube model and select "Edit in 3D view"
      • -> 3D View is opened, but cube is not selected
      • -> Expected is that cube gets selected the same way as when double clicking the cube in 2D view
