use of height map causes 3d model to disappear

I downloaded a material pack that contained maps for all of the mappable properties we have.

I've attached the material folder so you don't have to create an account.

After applying all of the material but the height map the view looks like this:

When I apply the height map the 3d model disappears.

but if I set the property "draw depth mode" the model comes back, just without any material properties (see below)
