Performance optimization for project with DesignEffects package

    Description

      When design effects are used, the performance can drop esp. on embedded device. This requires deeper analysis since we don't yet have a valid QML and Qt performance analyzator.

      There is a project in git:

      When the project ^ is executed on embedded device, the performance drops.

      This is seen on modern ThinkPad laptop and Toradex i.mx95 Verdin EVK.

      What is needed:

      • skim thru the codebase to spot for obvious problems
      • suggest corrections on the ticket OR directly on the git
